Hoy he tenido la experiencia de Jeremías. He tenido un entierro a las 13.00. Intenté que fuera antes por planes personales y la familia no accedió. Mes entó mal y me dije “voy a hacer un entierro de trámite casi sin predicar”. Y con esa intención iba. Pero cuando he terminado en Evangelio y la gente se ha sentado los he mirado y he sentido lo mismo que Jesús cuando veía a las ovejas sin pastor. Y me he puesto a predicar, a dejar que el fuego que había dentro de mí, mi pasión por Jesús, saliese a ver si alguien se quema con ella y se contagia. Cuando amamos tanto a Jesús sentimos una necesidad imparable de que otros le conozcan y le amen.

 

Cuando predico el Kerigma (hoy lo he hecho), el primer anuncio de Jesús muerto y resucitado, utilizo una frase para conectar con la gente que sería hoy eso que dice Jesús en el Evangelio de “pensar como los hombres y no como Dios”. La frase es “mi vida es mía ya hago con ella lo que quiero”.  Esta expresión es uno de los pilares filosóficos de la cultura posmoderna en la que vivimos. La vida no me ha sido dada, regalada sino que es posesión mía y puedo disponer como quiera de ella sin límites éticos.  Para poder dar la vida, como dice Jesús en el Evangelio, antes hay que recibirla. ¿No conocéis a alguien que estuvo a punto de morir y se salvó y ante esa segunda oportunidad responde dándose mucho a los demás porque tiene que devolver lo que ha recibido?

Cuando pensamos así, con los pensamientos de los hombres tropezamos y caemos. Por eso es importante como dice San Pablo “renovar la mente”. Limpiarla de este tipo de ideas que son mentira y nos llevan a “perder el alma”, en lenguaje de hoy: a perder la relación con Dios. Nosotros no nos dejamos llevar por las modas, lo políticamente correcto, las ideologías imperantes que se imponen. Somos hijos e hijas de Dios y por lo tanto libres. Y ante la vida, nuestras decisiones, los dilemas y situaciones que se nos presentan, discernimos, es decir, nos preguntamos: ¿qué es lo que quiere Dios de esto en concreto? Pedro no hizo ese discernimiento y se dejó llevar por el impulso de querer que Jesús triunfara y no sufriera. Seguro que esta experiencia le sirvió para ser mas reflexivo y pensar antes de hablar, discernir  antes de decidir. Que bien que la Palabra nos plantee esto a primeros de septiembre. Antes el nuevo curso pastoral ¿Qué quiere dios de mí? ¿En qué voy yo a dar la vida por Él? ¿Qué cruz voy a coger para seguirlo? Feliz domingo y bendiciones. Para ver las lecturas pincha aquí.
