Jesús nos llama la atención sobre el escándalo. ¿Qué importancia tiene el escándalo? Animar a otros a pecar, o visto desde otra perspectiva, desanimar a otro en la lucha contra el mal. No tenemos una responsabilidad únicamente personal sino también colectiva. Como aparece en la primera lectura somos el Pueblo de Dios que está puesto ante los demás pueblos como un faro en el mar. Y entre los que formamos ese pueblo somos corresponsables unos de otros. Si no cumplimos algún mandato “y así lo enseñamos” no sólo tropezamos nosotros sino que hacemos que otro tropiece.
